Anyone who regularly takes medication knows the problem: Did I actually take it today? Or was that yesterday? With daily medication, the days can quickly blur together. And conventional smartphone reminders only help to a limited extent.
A phone reminder goes off at a fixed time - whether you took your medication long ago or not. Maybe you took it right after breakfast and your phone beeps an hour later. It interrupts whatever you are doing. Worse still, you start wondering: Did I really take it earlier? Or am I imagining that? A reminder that cannot tell whether you actually need it creates more uncertainty than clarity.
With Liase, you can turn your old smartphone into a stationary device. Place it where you keep your medication, for example in the kitchen or bathroom. After taking your medication, press the button on the display. Take the medication, press the button - one connected routine. If the confirmation has not been given by a time you define, you will be reminded. Not before.
You are therefore only reminded when you have actually forgotten. No unnecessary interruptions and no wondering whether you took your medication or not. There is another benefit, too: In the portal, you can check when you pressed the button. This gives you a simple overview of your medication times.
Liase is not a medical device. It does not replace medical advice or professional medication management. It is simply a better way to be reminded - nothing more and nothing less.
